Aura Consortium was honoured to receive the Groundbreaker Award at the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) Sustainable Fashion Awards 2025, held on September 27th at Teatro alla Scala in Milan. The event is organized by CNMI in collaboration with the United Nations Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI), with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the ICE Agency, and the Municipality of Milan.
The awards celebrate organisations that drive transformative innovation and advance environmental and social progress in fashion. This recognition underscores Aura’s unique role in redefining how blockchain technology empowers the luxury industry.
Together on stage, Stefano Rosso, CEO of Marni and Chairman of Maison Margiela; Alexandra Lupas, Corporate Projects Director at Prada Group; Nelly Mensah, VP of Digital Innovation at LVMH; and Eric de Rocquigny, Chief Operating Officer of Van Cleef & Arpels, embodied the collaborative spirit at the heart of the Consortium.
Selected by an independent international jury of fashion industry leaders, the award places Aura among previous CNMI honourees recognised for reshaping fashion at the intersection of traceability, transparency, and innovation.
